Ampacity Calculation
AC Cables
For AC cables we have data available for most of the commercial available XLPE compounds including the semi-conductive compounds. These data vary significantly from the IEC 60287. We have made several calculations for the transmission capacity of XLPE and PP cables.
DC Cables including thermoplastic cables
We are focusing in our work mainly on cables with thermoplastic insulation, since we think this is the future. Due to our development we have access to the latest relevant data making the simulation on cables produced with our materials.
Processing of Cables
During the development of our PP-Cables we can simulate the cooling of the cables produced. We see in our simulation the temperature of these cables and can prevent cable damages by optimising the process parameters.
